EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Aim Higher Pre Season Program hosted for a second season at Samford Stags is a 6 session, pre-season course aimed at players  6 or 7  to 17/18 years of age and designed to get you ready to maximise your potential for the season ahead in 2022. Players from any club are invited to this event.

 

During each session, you will have a 20 to 30 minutes team meeting with over 70 minutes of training in a challenging, professional environment, designed to teach you how to be a professional sports person and get you fitter and more skilled than EVER.

 

All fitness sessions are mixed with skill work in games or drills.  You will not do mindless running – everything you do will include a ball or defence elements and we emphasise skill development as much as fitness. We will also teach you how to analyse the game, eat and drink like a champion, elite recovery methods, the mindset required to get to the top and we will use GPS units to track your work rate.   This course will be conducted in a manner on par, if not better, than any junior representative rugby league structures you get anywhere in Australia.
NEW: For the first time on our programs, participants will also be able to use the iNSPIRETEK, athlete-centred wellness management platform using sophisticated but easy to use tech, combined with data analytics and educational content.
NEW: There will also be the chance to purchase a uniform for the program and get it posted directly to you.  These details will be sent upon receiving your booking.
By the end of the course, you will leave know more about managing your body, will be experienced in game analysis and fitter and more skilled than ever ahead of the 2022 season!
The Aim Higher Program is led by Level 3 High Performance Coach Lee Addison and his team of assistants.
Addison has coached and developed over 60 NRL and Super League players, many of which have gone on to Origin or International honours. On this course he will unveil all the secrets that help those players reach the top.  For more details about the course leader CLICK HERE

Boys and girls aged 6 or 7 to -7/18 are welcome on the program, as are coaches who may be asked to assist with coaching.

This is the first of FOUR programs hosted by Samford in 2022, with the other 3 taking place in school holidays.
